Emory Cares 4 U cosponsored its first Wonderful Wednesday along with Active Minds at Emory on March 7th, 2012. To get students, faculty, and staff educated about the wide range of wellness services available to them, visitors to Asbury Circle could engage in a Scavenger Hunt that took them to important offices or student groups. Representatives from Emory Cares 4 U; Active Minds; Access, Disability Services and Resources; Office of LGBT Life; Office of Multicultural Programs and Services; The Counseling Center; Office of Health Education and promotion (Nutrition); Office of Financial Aid; The Laney Graduate School; Helpline; and Pawsitive Outreach were present and providing students with valuable information about their services. For added motivation, participants would get a t-shirt or sunglasses and a stress-busting sandwich if they completed a simple, informative task at six of the partner tables. To get students ready for Spring Break, a faux-beach was setup complete with "sand," "water," and beach chairs. By all accounts, everybody was able to take a minute to "Chill Out" and enjoy the festivities!
